When Habbekrats went on a month-long trip to Morocco to shoot their very first feature, they knew photographer Dennis Duijnhouwer had to come along. Because when you send Dennis out for an assignment, he runs off with your idea and a completely new story begins. That’s why the photo book ‘The Road to Rabat’ doesn’t simply offer a look at the production and atmosphere of an extraordinary journey, but an intimate portrait of the five countries this road movie was shot in as well.
The reultant analog photo series takes you on a journey from Amsterdam to Rabat, and is accompanied with personal stories and experiences of the crew and cast. It’s the diary of an adventure.
